Terms of Service

By accessing or using Mr. Jiu Jitsu ("the Service", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Mr. Jiu Jitsu is an AI-powered coaching platform for Brazilian jiu-jitsu and grappling practitioners. The Service provides AI-generated coaching conversations, training journal tools, performance analytics, and media storage. All AI coaching content is generated by large language models and is intended for informational and training guidance purposes only.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at support@mrjiujitsu.com. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

The Service uses a token-based credit system. Tokens are consumed when you interact with AI coaches or use AI analysis features. New accounts receive a complimentary token grant at signup. Additional tokens may be purchased through the billing portal.

All token purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Tokens have no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts. We reserve the right to modify token pricing at any time with reasonable notice.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any purpose other than BJJ, grappling, and related athletic training
• Attempt to circumvent, abuse, or manipulate the AI coaching system
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on any third-party rights
• Use automated tools to access the Service in ways that exceed normal usage
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without written permission

You retain ownership of content you create on the Service, including journal entries and uploaded media. By submitting content, you grant Mr. Jiu Jitsu a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and process that content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not sell your content to third parties.

AI coaching responses are generated by third-party language models and are provided for informational and training guidance purposes only. They do not constitute professional athletic, medical, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making decisions about your health, training, or physical wellbeing. Mr. Jiu Jitsu is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from reliance on AI-generated content.

All Service content, design, code, trademarks, and branding are the property of Mr. Jiu Jitsu or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written consent.

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to other users or the Service. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Unused tokens are forfeited upon termination for cause.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mr. Jiu Jitsu and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the six months preceding the claim.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by law.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
